In the painting of Cronus Devouring his children  by Fransisco de Goya, the artist fainly shows a head less god getting his arm chewed of f by Cronus, the author greatly shows that Cronus beleived that fortune teller about his children turning on him so Cronus decided to devour his children.

The novel The Last Of The Mohicans   is the book I have been reading. It’s about the Indian tribe the Mohicans who  are  having a lot trouble to keep their tribe going. The main character is Uncas. Uncas will be the very last of the Mohican’s after his dad goes to be with the great spirits of the sky. Uncas is the son of Chingagook,  but Chingagook is helped by Hawk-eye. Hawk-eye is an English man who be friends Chingagook. Hawk-eye’s boss Le Renard wants all of the Mohican’s gone so he can colonize their territory, but Hawk eye over hears his plan and Hawk-eye helps the Mohican’s escape, now it’s a race for survival. Chingagook gets very sick during the escape and ends up dying, now Uncas is the very last of the  Mohican’s. A year passes, Hawk-eye and Uncas are getting very close to the new land, but Uncas gets the same disease his dad had ( and since Uncas is the last of the Mohican’s things don’t look so good) Uncas makes a promise that he will not go be with the great spirits of the sky until he sees the new land. Another month passes, Hawk-eye and Uncas have finally made it to the new land. Uncas is still very sick they live there for a week before Uncas goes to be with the great sky spirits. I really liked this book i encourage more people to read this book because this book had a lot of action in it and the book was really exciting.
